WEEKEND BREAK IN JBDAY 1 (21/9)
We were supposed to cross over JB in the evening without Gil cos she had to teach but upon seeing the jam along the causeway, we decided to wait for her. We had dinner at KFC and made a short shopping trip to Sheng Shiong. Joash pooed while we were shopping so we went home to change him. We picked Gil up at about 10.30 pm. We reached Hotel Selasa in JB about 11 plus..... this was the first time we checked into a hotel this late.......Tom felt that it was not worth the money we spent for the hotel stay. Anyway, we had a change of rooms cos the aircon in one of the rooms was not working. But nonetheless, we were still excited.
I must say the rooms were better than I imagined. It was clean and well equipped. We started to pack and lazed around watching TV. Joash refused to sleep until 12 plus..... couldn't blame him....... new place what! We played UNO and snacked thru' the nite........ we were like "meh mehs" munching the hay-like cuttlefish strips..haha! I think we slept at about 2 plus.
DAY 2 (22/9)
We woke up the next day with great energy......like real.....sleep so late where got energy!....... But we were all ready for a day of feasting and shopping. I wasn't keen on BF at the hotel so did not joined them....Joash slept till about 10 am. After his shower, we set off to Jusco to buy Joash some toys. Like I mentioned in my past post, Jusco is not a place for cheap buys! So we bought 2 boxes of toy cars and left for lunch.
I was looking forward to lunch at my favourite Bamboo Restaurant in JB. I love their signature Emperor's Chicken dish...... I am sure I could finish one whole chicken with plain rice myself! The place seemed to have been renovated since the last time I was there (ok..... that's was like 2 years ago...hee!). It was airconditioned and most importantly, they had baby chairs so I could dine in comfort. We ordered 2 chickens, Sambal Kang Kong, Hot-plate Tofu and Yam paste. Everything were yummy except the paste.......guess this is not a place for desserts. Joash had a short nap in my arms...... think he's really tired out....... poor boy....got to skipped his nap becos of us....terrible parents!
After lunch, we headed back to the hotel to rest and swim. Tommy & Daph took care of Jo while the rest of us swim. The water was freezing....... yes...... the coldest I had every swam in...........I could take cold very well but this was way too cold for me........ Daryl was so cold that he started to turn purple and white.......... I think that's becos he practically have no fats at all in his body....... Daryl dear, pls eat more! But we continued to swim despite the cold water.
We headed for Holiday Plaza after shower. This old shopping place never change....... still the same after so many years........ lots of pirated VCDS & DVDS on sale........ we did not buy anything but found a nice nail parlour and decided to go back and pampered our nails the next day (not including the guys.....of course!). We also drop by Pelangi to get some cakes and whipped cream (haha.... that's our punk tool!) for our darling Daryl. Till then, we had not come up with any plan.... but the long wait for the missing trio (Daph, Daryl & Mich) triggered a wicked idea...ok not giving away the Punk Daryl Project Plan A at this point of time...... see below for more! We left the place with Joash's poo-filled diaper......we decided to change him when we returned to the hotel......this was also one of the tools of our Plan A. Anyway, we bought lots of seafood from Tebrau Garden ....namely, Butter Crayfish, Chilli Crabs, Buttermilk Deep Fried Sotong, Sting Ray, Baby Kailan and the Famous Claypot Chicken rice. We also got Daryl a bowl of peanut paste. Tebrau Garden looked and smell the same....It was still dirty and filled with rats.... I was so worried about seeing them when we (Gil & I) had to cut across thru small lanes to get over to another side........ guess what, Gil saw a rat and screamed, I screamed too although I did not see it........... everyone was looking at us...... so "pai seh"....hee hee!
I did not have a very good dinner as the food had turned cold by the time I ate them cos I needed to get Jo to sleep. In the end, he didn't sleep and that became my plan B...... am I getting you excited about this punk? Relax........ here comes the exciting bits.......

PUNK DARYL PROJECT PLAN A
I will continued from "the long wait for the missing trio"....... honestly, we were quite anxious cos we didn't know where they were........ worried for their safety and Jo's comfort (he pooed!). In the end, we went to the information counter and paged for them. But we guessed they didn't hear their names being called. They finally appeared after half an hour. We found out that they were searching for Daryl's shorts and so we (Gil, Tom & I) started to devise a plan to punk Daryl. Gil & I were supposed to act very annoyed with them for making us wait so long and causing such discomfort to Joash. Gil kept "grumbling" about the long wait as we walked to the car. BUT my dear HB almost gave the plan away by laughing when Gil was acting. In the end, I had to pretend to calm Gil down instead of getting angry with them. Gil became the only "petty person" for the night. Mich was clearly irritated with Gil and the other 2 just kept quiet, wondering what had happened to her....hee...... While we were waiting for the food, Gil continued to act angry.
Plan A failed cos they suspected that we were trying to punk them when Tommy laughed..... see I told you.... he cannot act! Gil revealed Plan A to them while I was trying to get my Little Prince to bed. I just couldn't let Daryl off like that...... so while I was sitting alone in the my room, a very wicked plan came into my mind......... I shall be the only actress for Plan B..... Punk Dowager revived...... no one knew the plan....... muahahaha! As I continued to think about my "lines" with Jo wide awaked in my arms, Gil tiptoed into the room to take her bag. Jo upon seeing her, got up. I took the opportunity to "shout" at him and pretended to be very upset..... and subsequently, stormed into their room cursing and swearing at him........ I even "pretended to kick him (actually, that's how I play with him at home..... that's why he wasn't affected! Haha!). I think I "whispered" the "F" word quite audibly too. I shouted fiercely at Tommy for making me the one who had to get him to bed all the time. Tommy got agitated (it was real anger cos no one knew including him!)and retaliated by saying, "You drive la!". I started to blame Gil for coming into the room and woke Jo up...... she was quite apologetic... And I thot saw tears in her eyes...... the funniest thing was when she said, "Are you punking me?" in a worried voice..... I wanted to laugh as I looked at her innocent face...... I just turned and eat my food...... I needed to stuff my mouth to stop myself from laughing.....hee! There was silent in the room at that moment.
A while later, I told Tommy to help me get some things from our room. Told him about my plan and he was shocked......haha...but I warned him to continue to keep quiet and if anyone asked what was wrong....just say I am mad....haha! I took the cakes into the toilet (yucks!) to light the candles and bang the door real hard (I had forgotten that Jo was asleep..... thank goodness, he wasn't awaken!). Tommy went back to joined them for dinner. Finally, the truth was revealed when I returned with the cake....... I think Gil appeared to be the worst victim followed by my Hb for this punk instead of our BD boy Daryl.
That was not the end...... we still had more evils plans up our sleeves....... we started to take pics with Daryl and while he was posing, Tommy came and pretended to joined in with a can of whipped cream behind him. Daryl being the usual blur king did not suspect a single thing. I pretended to ask them to pose properly and just at that moment, Tom squeezed the cream all over Daryl's head. Unfortunately, some got on the the bed...... so we brought him to the torture chamber aka toilet to be further "mutilated"........ this time with lipsticks too! DAY 3 (23/9)

We woke up late the next day. I had BF at the hotel leaving a sleeping Joash behind with Daph who didn't want to eat. BF was good.... I especially love the Mushroom & Cheese omettle....yummy! This was the most relaxed meal I had during this trip cos Jo wasn't around to disturb me......finally a chance ito eat in peace. Mich was so excited about her "horny" stars during BF........see above video.
As mentioned aboved, we went to get our nails done at Holiday Plaza. The parlour was small but well-decorated in purple (Gil's fave colour). This was Gil & Daph's first time having their nails done....... Gil was exceptionally nervous about the whole thing. The guys were really nice, they waited for us for about 2 hours plus without complains...thanks guys! In the end, we left the place with beautiful manicured nails...... will be back for more pampering....maybe once in a month?? Ladies ya????
We had a veryt late lunch, about 4 plus and Daryl was famished. At first, we wanted to have our lunch at A&W but Tom lost his way so we settled for the highly recommeded place for Bak Ku Teh & Ginger Chicken near Bamboo restaurant. Jo missed his nap for another day. he slept in my arms till we reached the eatery. The place was hot and stuffy but there were baby chairs available. We ordered 2 claypots of Ginger chicken, 1 claypot of Bak Kuteh, 1 claypot of Lou Bak, 1 bowl of Tou Pok and 1 plate Salted vege. The Ginger Chicken was fragant and delicious..... I love it.... reminded me of my confinement days. The Lou Bak was tender and lean........ but the Bak Ku Teh was a disappointment..... no herbs taste at all and the ribs were too hard...... I think I can get better ones in SG........ the rest of the dishes were fine. Towards the end of our lunch, Jo started to cry hysterically for almost 20 mins..... everyone was shocked and Tom was irritated. Guess he was just too tired and warm. I felt like tearing him apart in the car......haha! We reached SG at about 7 plus after a long and hot ride back from JB...... we were exhausted....... but satisfied and happy with this little weekend break.
Thank you GILLIAN, MICHELLE, DAPHNE & DARYL for taking care and playing with Joash throughout this trip so that we can have a little rest in between. Mich thanks for the car too! I hope Jo didn't frightened all of you with his crying and whinning each time he was cranky....... now you know why I am so grumpy sometimes........ haha! Thanks....love you all!
Tommy is on resevist this week. Gil & Mich took me out to shop for groceries this evening ..... thank you, thank you ladies!
Before I end this post, I have a a funny video of Gil trying to teach Joash to say "mama" with an unexpected twist in the end......... I am sure you will laugh really hard after watching it.......hahahahha! Enjoy......
