OUR 9TH ANNIVERSARY AND UPDATES

We celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary on 3 June 2009 at Sakura, RP. Wanted to have it at Vienna but I was down with a flu so went somewhere near. Can't believe it's almost a decade (Dear, it's next January 2010 then 10 years!)! Some commented that we behaved like newly weds..... always sweet sweet! I must say every family has their own "difficult Bible" (nan nian the jin) and we're definitely have one! I think in order to enjoy sweetness to the fullest in a relationship, we have to endured "sourness", experienced "saltiness" and most importantly erased bitterness! Forgiveness is the number one thing that every couple should learn to release and received. Notice that I didn't mention forget cos even God remembers incidents.... see the Bible for every sin that those great man of God committed! They are written for us to learn something from. Ok, I shall not "preach" further....haha.... HAPPY 9TH ANNIVERSARY DEAR!

We had a belated Mother's Day Celebration with my mom at Holiday Inn Hotel. We bought all the moms necklaces and tarts.Of course, ang paos too! The buffet at Holiday Inn wasn't that good so don't think we'll be back again.

Mother's Day Celebration

Had Japanese buffet in JB again 2 weeks ago. Gil was with us too. See pics below.

Aunty Cindy was back from Perth for her lasik and she wanted Geylang durians so we brought her for a durian feast.

We were invited to Von's school for a Movie night dinner. The students from Shatec were really polite and service was good. Hopefully they remain like this when they start work....hee! Von & Les sang a duet at the dinner.... awwwww..... so sweet! Here are the pics and vids.

Les had craving for crabs last week so these were what we had for dinner.

Did a mini drama with my cell kids during the children programme. And these are the pics of the princesses...haha!

My aunt invited us to her place for steamboat. I like the trays that she used. Very good idea for preparing steamboat.

Had dinner with Gil at Kim Gary, JB. This was her Typhoon style noodles....huge!

Tom and I had these:

I had craving for bibimpap so had this Korean stone rice from Foodfare food court. Not too bad but I still prefer the one at Bugis.

Dinners I prepared for us:

1) Gil's mom gave us some yummy vegetarian food. I love the crispy thingy! I steamed some chicken for my meat lover hubby.

2) Curry chicken and Ham & CS omelette for some friends who came over for dinner.

3)Steamed meat balls with CS, stir-fry chilli french beans and curry potatoes.

4) Steamed Pork ribs with black beans and Balacan Brinjal with prawns.

5) Mee Hoon Kueh with minced pork and anchovies.

6) Teriyaki Chicken rice with crab stick salad and stir-fry cabbage.

Woohoo.... this is a really long post due to my lack of motivation to blog these days cos I am addicted to Korean dramas. Watched Boys Over Flowers (finished it in a weeks and I am in love with Ji hoo!), Queen of Housewives (finished in a week and it made me laughed and cried so much !). Now Tom (yes, he's a Korean drama convert!) and I are addicted to "Likeable or Not". It's 172 episodes and I am at Ep 94.....haha! Ok got to continue with my drama marathon now...bye!
