UPDATES...... FINALLY!
It's been almost a month since my last post. Btw, the sad issue is over..... I've moved on and feeling thankful that things did worked out..... for now at least!

I've many pics to upload so will let them do the talking and I will type lesser....I hope..... hee!

Let's start with my new cell. We are settling in our cell well and I even had an opportunity to take the kids for their programme.... they're really an enjoyable bunch..... not to mention adorable!

This is my CGL's daughters' birthday celebration. The older girl Isabelle was too shy to let us sing her a birthday song while the younger one was all ready to pose for us..... so cute!

Video of us singing her a BD song

We celebrated Gil's birthday too. Since she hadn't been to Tony Romas, we decided to bring her there for her birthday treat and we also got her some nice-smelling gifts! The night before her actual birthday, we got Jo to sing her a birthday song (see Jo's blog for video). She has been a one of God's greatest blessing to us and especially to our dear son.

Von, Les and Kei came over to our place with crabs for dinner. They wanted to fulfilled Kei's cravings before he flew off for his holiday in Perth. Actually, it was just an excuse for us to indulge in high-cholesterol food (the crab roe is so yummy!)...hehe!

Last Saturday, we celebrated our nephew Ryan's 1st birthday at their place. It was a rather short party and we went shopping after that. The little toddler was feeling rather grouchy which reminded me of how irritable my son was on his 1st birthday celebration....sigh! Anyway, here are the pics.

I love this pic of Jo jumping in my nightie. He kept pretending that he was in a sack race...see his blog for more!

Let's move on to more yummy stuff.

This is Ayam Penyti from NTU food court. I decided to have this for dinner instead of my usual Jap food while waiting for Gil's lecture to end. It was cheap and good!

My 5th uncle just opened a chicken rice stall at some canteen and my dad brought some over for us to try. It was ok for me cos I think the rice wasn't cooked well! But the chicken was nice.

We had this super shiok vegetarian fish curry for dinner one of the nights. It was prepared by Gil's mom and we loved it! Thks Aunty Pauline and Gil!

We chanced upon this Japanese restaurant in JB while searching for Leisure Mall. It was a restaurant serving Japanese buffet which cost about RM45+++ for dinner. We thot it was a good deal cos the food was served hot and there were a large varieties of food to choose from. We liked the ambience too. I felt they have an interesting concept of displaying their food with pics and using cards to make orders. The service was pretty good too! Think we'll be back when we have craving for Jap food. See pics below.

I cooked quite often these days and sometimes even lunch. See if you can figure out what they are...haha!

Tom brought his mom for Easter Hokkien service on Good Friday and we had dinner together at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, Sunplaza. Jo enjoyed his Ah ma's company. The food was ok and Jo liked the bean curd dessert. We might be back to try their dim sum. See how happy Jo was that day. I could tell that my MIL was glad to have our company. My hb was also happy to be able to spend some time with her.

On Saturday, I had Easter rehearsal in the noon and followed by Peace Mission at home. Actually, it only my SIL and kids. We watch Little Rain but did not have an opportunity to share much cos they were hungry and in a rush to go back. We had dinner at Hans. Kuen and Fiona visited us after dinner with their new pet hamster! I was reminded of Snowball, my first and last pet. Jo had fun playing with the hamster and it's cage...see his blog for more!

One last pic before I sleep. Went JB today for pedicure and shopping. Gil was with us too. I love her nails.... I think the colour look sexy on her! This is my short and stubby looking toes with a colour that my hb had chosen. It's quite sweet actually!

I shall end this post with a song that I heard during Easter service. It was sang by my Choir director.... his voice was really "power"! I found the song on Youtube and David Phelps's voice was so "WOW, WOW, WOW"! I was almost in tears while listening to him sing. Here's the video and lyrics.

NO MORE NIGHT BY DAVID PHELPS

NO MORE NIGHT

The timeless theme, earth and
heaven will pass away. It’s not a
dream, God will make all things
new that day. Gone is the curse
from which I stumbled and fell.
Evil is banished to eternal hell.

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying
again. And praises to the great "I
AM." We will live in the light of
the risen Lamb.

See all around, now the nations
bow down to sing. The only
sound is the praises to Christ,
our King. Slowly the names from
the book are read. I know the
King, so there’s no need to dread.

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying
again. And praises to the great "I
AM." We will live in the light of
the risen Lamb.

See over there, there’s a mansion,
oh that’s prepared just for me,
where I will live with my savior
eternally.

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying
again. And praises to the great "I
AM." We will live in the light of
the risen Lamb.

All praises to the great "I AM."
We’re gonna live in the light of
the risen Lamb.

GOOD NIGHT!
